Musée de l'alambic in St Désirat

Discover the lives of distillers

On the French countryside, alcohol used to be traditionally distiled with alembics. In the musée de l'Alambic in Saint Désirat, you’ll find a 1400 m² exhibition room about the life and the work of these craftsmen, and various copper alembics from various regions in France. Thirty signs show the daily life of these craftsmen, through time and through the various regions of France.

Discovering "l'Ardèche Verte"

The Ardèche Verte or Haut Vivarais is nestled between the parc naturel des Monts d'Ardèche, in the south, and the parc naturel du Pilat, in the north.
